Co-produced/co-directed with Liss Platt: segment, “Program #1: Watching TV Watching Us” of “Signal to Noise: Making Sense of TV”, PBS series. A documentary short about fan’s obsessions for TV soap operas.
This is an exploration of the intimate relationship soap opera viewers have to their ‘shows’. From a visit with co-producer Liss Platt’s family (200 years combined viewing) to a fan event at a Santa Monica beach, Soap Opera looks at the way soaps can become an extension of our world.
